Caithness Moths - Blastobasis lacticolella
This micro moth does not have an English name. Not originally a British species it was accidentally introduced and is now widespread, its success probably based on the fact that the larvae feed on a wide range of food including leaf-litter, vegetation and stored products. Comes to light in May and June, and has also been recorded in the County at the end of August.
