weetabix loaf
Has anybody got a recipe for weetbix loaf.
My neighbour used to make it and it is scrum but i never got the recipe from her and I have now moved.
Any ideas please

Ingredients
2 Weetabix
113g (4oz) Sultanas
142ml (5fl oz) Skimmed milk
142ml (5fl oz) Water
113g (4oz) Self-raising flour
1 Teaspoon of Mixed Spice
14g (½oz) Artificial sweetener
1 Egg (beaten)
Method
(1) Preheat oven to 180°C, 350°F or Gas Mark 4.
(2) Put the Weetabix and sultanas in a bowl. Pour milk and water over the top and leave to soak up all the liquid.
(3) Stir in the flour, mixed spice, sweetener and beaten egg.
(4) Spoon the mixture into a 454g (1LB) lined loaf-tin, and bake in oven for 1 hr 15 mins, until cooked.
i made this i didnt like it but others did

2 crushed weetabix
1 cup sultanas
2 cups sr flour
1 cup sugar, mix all then add
1 cup milk 1 tsp mixed spice, stir
greased loaf tin 325oF about 45 mins
weetabix brownies
in a bowl put 4 crushed weetabix
4oz sugar
4oz sr flour 2 tbsps cocoa
pkt choc drops or chopped up chocolate, mix
add 4oz marg melted and 1 egg
15mins 180oc, line an 81/2 x 81/2 tray

WEATBIX AND SULTANA LOAF
INGREDIENTS:
5 Weatbix
1tsp Baking Soda
1 cup Sultanas
3 tbs Butter, melted
1 Cup Sugar
1Cup Boiling Water
1 Egg
1 1/2 cups Selfraising Flour
METHOD
Place crushed weatbix, baking soda, sultanas, butter and sugar in a bowl. Pour over boiling water and allow to stand for 5mins. Add egg and beat. Add flour and stir mix well. Place in a greased loaf tin. Bake at 180C for 50-60mins or until cooked.
While it's cooking, do housework, get changed and expect a visitor.
This recipe is amazingly easy and yummy!!!!!
