    Default Small ladybird like insects

    Have any of you noticed the amount of little dark green laydbird like
    insects that have invaded us.Does anyone out there know what they are
    and no doubt the invasion of these insect will be down to the Icelandic
    volcano !!!!

    T hese little beetles appear every year raround this time and love to sit on the washings hanging on the line.....nothing to do with the Icelandic volcano....just part of Caithness and quite harmless.

    Our car and the courtyard are covered in them and the air is thick with them this afternoon.

    Noticed alot out at reiss beach the other day, when i returned to the car it had quiet a few on it
    A gentle stream can split a mountain, given enough time.
