Hmm, i think Colin Campbell has penned some really inspired lyrics in his time at the forfront of the industry:

"There's stacks o' snow in Staxigoe and in Drumlithing it is really... pouring".

Just Brilliant. Mrs Macs croft house B&B, another masterpeice. Anyone remember the lyrics tho?

    Wink

Chobbers, of course your right again. . . .

Forget the pretentions of a Rush Lyric. Mr. Pearts intelligent, lyrical pyrotechnics.

It always comes back to the direct, basic classics mentioned previously by the wonderful Mr. Stewart (know doubt already organising the Scottish dance bands itinery past the pearly gate) and Mr. Murray.

Yes, yes - keep it simple

Don't think Rush need any more tributes.

Just past their 30th anniversary as an outfit. And yes, Mr Peart is the lyrical brain of the band (The intelligent one) - just like most other bands, the drummer is the talent. (I may be slightly biased in the opinion though . . .)

I'll count you in with this theory as you also play (not sure though how your guitaring may affect this idea)

as you well know I was a skins man before I was a twanger

& the drummer having the intelligence...............the rest of the band just say that to stop any potential R&R tantrums

A tear in the hand of a western man
and he'll tell you of salt, carbon and water'
But a tear in the hand of an oriental man
and he'll tell you of sorrow and sadness
and the love between a man and a woman.

Mr. America, walk on by your supermarket dream
Mr. America, walk on by the liquor store supreme
Mr. America try to hide the product of your savage pride
The useful minds that it denied
The day you shrugged and stepped aside
You saw their clothes, and then you cried,
    "Those HUNGRY FREAKS, DADDY!"

and I am not frightened of dying, any time will do, i
Dont mind. why should I be frightened of dying?
Theres no reason for it, youve gotta go sometime.
i never said I was frightened of dying.
