birthday cake

hi guys

i have recently got into baking cakes, and love doing birthday cakes. I did a doll cake for my neice that turned out so much better that i could have imagined, and a golf bag cake for my brother in law which was also a success (if i do say so myself )

anyways, its my father in laws bday next week and i want to make a car cake as he loves his bmw.

does anyone have any tips on this as i think its the hardest one yet.....

thanks puppygirl. the car ended up a disaster so i chnged it to a normal cake with a bmw badge which turned out ok for myh 1st time making and using fondant icing.

ill keep this link tho, my nephews bithday is next, and he wants a celtic cake.. think hes just asked for that cos im a rangers supporter tho!
