    Default Smoking tree

Late this evening my wife and I saw what appeared to be smoke streaming from the top of a big pine in the back of our garden. I also saw the same thing happening with a pine further down the road. Could this be clouds of pollen wafting up in the warm air after such a hot day?

Please excuse the quality of the images - it was getting quite dark.

Nope - not a wind up. Definitely was pollen - the car was covered in the stuff in the morning. There was a similar effect the following night and on Sunday night as well. I took a short video sequence - suppose the best place to post that is Niall's new TV spot.

On second thoughts - my little 4 second sequence would be lost there, so I'll put it here if someone can tell me how. I took the video with my Sony P72 digital camera.
