    Default Walking

There's lots of beautiful wee places around the Caithness coast. The old harbours are a nice place to start, then explore further.
A wee secret favourite of mine is out by Reay, where the Caithness Glass sign used to be. Go down to the coast on the peat track and there's a tiny wee geo with a cave on its left which goes through to the coast. There's a big old rudder bracket from a shipwreck in the cave.

Default Walking out by Reay, where the Caithness Glass sign used to be

    Hi.

Am moving to Halkirk soon and was wondering if this walk would be suitable for taking along my greyhound?

    Cheers,
    Jennifer

    Definitely.

Its on google earth, called puffin cove - there are markers there. The first G E markers on the coast West of Reay.

I saw a light colored car parked there on Saturday so someone was having a nice walk. Beautiful sunshine too.
