    Hey folks,

    has anyone got a spare preamp valve (12AX7 or similar) that I could purchase off them?

    One of mine smashed whilst transporting it home from a gig.

    I lol'd at this.

    I also lol'd at maintaining a valve amp. 10years I've owned valve amps and I've had one faulty valve (which got replaced free of charge). Mind you, even if I had to replace them all, the sound I get from valve amps is worth it

    And, I never use tube amps when recording... yet...

    Ok, serious response.

    You can buy one of these things for about a fiver... why not buy a few and carry some spares. It beats scrounging on C.Org.
