Greetings from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada!
Hope I have beginner's luck, as this is my first posting on this Board.
Looking for descendents of the following people who lived at the addresses below circa 1935. Names & addresses taken from their brother Sinclair's Canadian Will.
(a) David Sutherland, Upper Reisgill, Lybster
(b) John Sutherland, Rose Cottage, Mavsey by Lybster
(c) Mrs. Margaret Sinclair, Achairn, Stirkoke, nr. Wick
Their father George & my greatgrandfather David were brothers. We share common lineage through Francis Sutherland and Jane McKay, married c.1813 in Latheron Parish. Francis and Jane had a large family and lived on a croft on the Sinclair Estate - Smerly Reisgill.
I am having difficulty finding any descendents. David Sutherland's family are the only known Canadian descendents, although a brother Francis emigrated to Chicago in the 1860's or 1870's.
