Probably Skinandi's, I am sure they would be showing it.
I'll be up in the area - ish when the world cup semi-finals are played.
If England get through to the latter stages what would be the best pub in Thurso to watch the game in? I don't mind anti-anglo banter, though I wouldn't want my head stoved in.
A biggish screen would be a boon.
Probably Skinandi's, I am sure they would be showing it.
What is football? - You're better off fishing, fella
Landy!, You'd better come round to our place, nae hassle, plenny o' booze and conver when the half time starts and we are three up.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.
Skinandi's ain't showing the football. All the games will be shown in Top Joes though.
liquid will be showing them aswell as far as i know an if they dont ill be booking some time off!!

I've heard that The Flying Pig is a great pub to visit if you want to see your team 3-0 up at half-time. The beer is free and Pamela Anderson is the barmaid. Pele is there dishing out the complimentary Viagra tablets and there is a Bob Marley cigarette machine on permanent free vend. For your viewing enjoyment there is a 50" screen with self-adjusting rose-tint. It extends to 60" on insertion of Viagra tablet ;o)
Enjoy!!
thanks for the offer Rheghead, will bear it in mind.Originally Posted by Rheghead

I'm so looking forward to sample the atmosphere in a far northern pub.
Win or lose it will be an interesting evening.
If they dont make it then cest la vie. As a Manchester City supporter I'm used to the occasional disappointment.

I spent 12 weeks on St Kilda many years ago. It was run by the army and I worked for a construction company building a new camp on the main island of Hirta. Managed over to Dun one fine day where the puffins numbered hundreds of thousands at that time.

I am sure that I read somewhere it is now shut
I think you are right; wasn't there something concerning the licence? Ah well, it was not one of my regular drinking holes!....
