Thank you Rheghead (and Katarina). I never realised that there were quite so many buildings on Stroma. It's really quite sad isn't it?

Thank you Rheghead. The photographs are absolutely brilliant. Enjoyed my "walk" round Stroma immensely!
My husbands family were all from Stroma and I hope to go to Stroma in October.Originally Posted by Issy13

We'll be going before then. I'll give you a shout if you want to come. the stroma reunion is held in the hotel in John O'groats. Your in-laws are always there.Originally Posted by mccaugm

Lizz, Fantastic photos!
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.
The pics were excellent. Its been about 20 years since I visited Stroma. My husbands family were the last to leave the island back in the 1960's so it holds a special interest for us.
Great photos lizz!!!
Great pics people, I would love a trip over there.

You have great pictures Catherine, lovely and clear. What kind of camera do you have?
Don't wrestle with pigs, you just get all dirty and the pig enjoys it.
