    7th July

    10am at Farr High School Bettyhill

    7 Aside with max 10 in squad

    ages between 7-14

    £10 per team entry to cover costs

    Trophies and medals

    Please get your team name to me asap so i can arrange the day. More info and letters to follow.

    Any parents willing to help on the day please also get in touch, all help is much appreciated.

    A copy of the rules will be available shortly.

    Teams don't need to exist already. 7-10 friends who want to get together and come along are very welcome.

    **************CHANGES TO FOOTBALL FESTIVAL*****************

    Not sure why but can't edit the original post.

    Participants must now be aged between 9 and 13
    NOT 7-14 as previously stated.

    Teams can consist of players aged between 9 and 13 (on 7th July), they don't have to be the same age. All teams will play each other.

    The TIME has been changed to a 11.30 start.

    Letters are due to go to all pupils aged between 9 and 13 in Thurso and Wick via their Active Schools People. A copy of the letter is below.

    FARR FOOTBALL FESTIVAL – 7TH JULY 2006 AT 11.30AM

    As part of Active Schools holiday activities this year I am organising a football tournament on Friday the 7th July at Farr High School starting at 11.30am.

    Games are to be 7 a-side with a maximum of 10 players in each squad

    Players must be aged between 9 and 13 on the 7th of July 2006.

    The tournament is open to mixed teams or solely girl/boy teams all are welcome to enter. All will play in the same tournament.

    Entry is £10 per team which will go towards covering costs for the day.

    Players will play for a new Farr Football Festival shield with runners up each getting a medal or rosette.

    A full set of rules will be posted out to each team that registers, the closing date for registration is Wednesday the 5th July.

    To register please send me a sheet with the following headings, only one sheet per team is necessary with answers for each player:

    Medical conditions are only ones that will be affected by taking part in the tournament and that i should be aware of on the day. Please send completed forms to Joanna Johnston, Farr High School, Bettyhill, By Thurso, Caithness, KW147SS. Please make cheques payable to Farr High School.
