Just got in from a run out toward Loch More. A real treat to see both Male and Female Hen Harriers: beautiful. Certainly the best view I've ever had of a female Hen Harrier.

Also saw my first Wheatear too: I know you folks have probably seen loads of stuff like this, but it's still a great novelty for us.

Amazing are n't they, first time I saw Hen Harriers I was so excited, pleased you got a sighting.

I'm going to try to post some photos when I get the chance. I must admit that I've not been able to photograph any birds in their natural habitat, only a few snaps of birds at the feeders.

I'm still experimenting with a new camera so the results are a bit disappointing so far. (some of the gear but no idea springs to mind). The standard of the wildlife, and particularly the birds, is quite staggering on the forum. (Nirofo etc.).

I'm going to try to hook up my camera to my spotter scope and see what happens.
