    As Sporran has never seen what lurks behind the "other side" of Hoy, heres a little panorama of Stromness.

    I thought you would be off takin shots round the Strathnaver estate now yer "hanging" in Dunrobin! You will be too good for this common photography section once Lord S tells his pals and they all ask for commissions!

    Oh thank you so much for dedicating that panorama to me, MPH! It's absolutely beautiful, and so serene! Makes me want to go to Orkney all the more! I haven't been having a good day so far, but your fantastic panorama has cheered me up!!

    Stromness is a very interesting place to visit, even for a day trip.

    I always think that Stromness looks like a Scandanavian town at the mouth of a fjord
    especially in the low early morning light.Really enjoyed the climb up the hill and just stood looking for ages,something magical about the light.
