    Default Quails

    I'm going to start breeding them so does anybody have any tips please?

    I do know a few things about quail (sorry chaz, them girls just keep fighting), been breeding them for 8 years, so fire away with your questions .

    If they had the chance would they fly
    if they did would they come back?

    Yes. How much depends which quails we are talking about. Some take off like sparrows, some just fly a couple meters.

    Do they come back?
    No, not a chance. They don't return to their bed at night like chickens neither.

    Do they fight?
    Yes and no.
    Quails are fine if they grow up together. At maturity some will quibble or even peck. However, grouping adult birds is not for the faint hearted. They can peck each other to death.
