In work but not working lol!

I'm just back from cadets, catching up on tonight's TV and websites. Day off tomorrow, so I don't have to go to bed too early!

My job involves monitoring the plant as it makes asphalt. Once everything is running smoothly I just sit back, (recline actually), and watch a cctv screen and two pc's. I have a pile of books to read or will use my laptop to go online, or sometimes have a nap.

    So technically, I was working.

I am looking forward to having a Japanese meal tonight - my step-daughter's 30th birthday. Yum yum - will save some appetite.

Just been out with my ADI head on for a couple of lessons, got back and took the mutt down to the harbour and up to the castle...lovely day.

Currently making tea and thinking about having a beer tonight if it's quiet enough.

No - we had a lemonade at Blickling and tea at East Ruston - very nice too - and they don't diddle you for it was good value.

    Today was strange.

Art on the beach did not happen because some poor soul threw themselves under a train near Margate and the whole line came to a halt.
After a while we gave up and went to Fort Amherst, a Napoleonic fortress in Chatham which was walking distance.

The fort itself was interesting but what happened was weird.

A couple of months back a fellow orger sent me some photos of floating globes that appeared when he took snaps inside his house.

Well today several people were taking photos inside the caves at the fortress which are supposed to be haunted. I had no camera with me but the people who did were getting floating orbs all over the place - some very bright indeed. In a day or so I should be able to get some copies and post them here.

    Most Odd!!

I would imagine right now that both Pepys and Chaucer are up on a cloud having a right good laugh.

Great literature - o mae ai!
