    Default A New Day's Dawn

Daughter woke me as she rolled in from Skins at some ungodly time this morning, couldn't get back off to sleep so decided just to get dressed and head down the the beach with the dogs, glad I did and that I took along my little compact camera, tide was way out allowing me to walk right along the bottom of the breakwater to be level with the Castle just as the sun was starting to come up behind it...........it was stunning

here are a couple of shots of it - sometimes it pays to get up and out early

delighted with these but gutted that my dslr camera still isn't back from the cleaners!

I wish I could get up that early, just shows you what you're missing while you're asleep.

Great shots dragonfly, well worth getting up for.

Your Thurso Castle silhouettes are simply stunning, dragonfly!! And even though daylight is dawning, the place still has a haunted look to it!
I am living for today, always remembering yesterday, and looking forward to tomorrow!
