    Default Message of thanks

Hi there this is a strange one

I am trying to get as many thank you messages or retirement messages for my dad to make a scrapbook.

He’s the former grave digger at Thurso cemetery and has been for 45 and half years. He’s put so much love into our loved ones final resting place and I feel isn’t getting the recognition he deserves for all his hardwork.

This is top secret and again hoping he’s not on this forum( I don’t think he is)

These can posted here or pop me a private message.

    Many thanks

    Many thanks Ashleigh

I wish your father well in his retirement.

As a former Highland councillor I was always very aware of the dedicated service by many council workers in many different jobs. Our communities depend on the work of many hidden figures that allow our lives to function.

A long number of years in his employment says a lot about his dedication to get the job done.

We owe him more than I can say.

I thank him whole-heartedly and wish him a long and happy retirement.

I concur with Mr Fernie’s comments.
Many years ago I knew his counterpart at Latheron Cemetery.
Yes, an important position where things had to be done to perfection for those in grief.
    Thank you…..
