    you were kinda correct lorraine chase was indeed in wurzle gummage , she played the shop maniquine(sp?) who was always ripping into aunt sally for being common. wurzle always used to put on his posh head to talk to her.
    two old favourites of mine were stigg of the dump and stookie doyle although i don't know if stookie was ever shown up this way as it was an stv production.

    an as for cedric saying he's too young to remember these programmes - he may be but only just!!
