tried the ponies and sheep on a new treat and they love them so thought i would share it.


1 cup wholemeal flour
1 cup porridge oats
1 large shredded carrot
1 large shredded apple
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoon veg. oil
1/4 cup treacle


mix all dry ingredients,mix in carrots and apple.add all wet ingredients mix thourghly.roll into balls and place on greased tray.pop into fridge for 1 hour. then cook for 20 mins.at 150 degrees. gas mark 2 .


acctually tastes great for us 2 legged animals too.

Don't have ponies or sheep so might try this recipe for myself as it sounds lovely.

They are yummy as tried one yesterday - so that was one less for the animals...
