Hello Folks,
I saw a sign as I was driving out of Thurso saying that the Thurso Massed Pipe Bands were on Thursday 25 Aug at 7:45 pm. Can someone tell me approx what time do they finish, and where in Princes Street is the best place to stand to watch and listen?:cool:
OK, I am a jerk brain. 25th August is Saturday not Thursday. Any idea how long they play for?

well it used to be
massed pipe bands will be on the 25th thats a sat 7.45pm
Details as follows:
Massed bands will parade onto the street at 7.45.
Set with highland dancers
Then each band will do a 15 minute solo spot
Evening will close about 9.30 with massed bands again.
Commentary will be given during the evening.
Please come along and enjoy - we (I am a member of Thurso Pipeband) appreciate your support.
Best place to watch, I would suggest, is in front of the 'town clock'
