Brothers (Toby Maguire/Jake Gyllenhaal/Natalie Portman)

'Brothers' has to be one of the most emotionally powerful movies I have ever had the pleasure of watching. It really brings home the horror of war, and the emotional turmoil that it brings upon the families of those involved. I have always liked Jake Gyllenhaal as an actor, but I have never really thought of Toby Maguire as anything more than competent. But his performance in 'Brothers' is nothing short of breathtaking, especially the last 30 minutes of the movie. I defy anyone with a brain and a heart, not to be totally enthralled in this movie.
