Miss Meiklejohn

I am looking for any member of the family of Miss Meiklejohn, as she was known to my family during the early years of the second World War. She was owner/manager of The Clett Hotel where my Dad was billeted. He was a member of the Royal Air Force, driving 'VIP's' arriving from, presumably. Norway. He arrived home on Leave to Kent. armed with boxes full of eggs (we had a rationed one egg a week between three of us at home) and stories of the aurora borealis, the magnificence of the Highlands, little packets of shells from John O Groats....it was a magical picture he painted of the area. The Hotel - does it still exist? I hope to visit Thurso in May and would dearly love to see the place where he was made welcome.
