Bad lieutenant

Went to see this last night in aberdeen and it is possibly one of the WORST films ive ever see, dont bother going to see it.
theres a small story line and it goes on for a wee while then its just a lot of tosh after that, other folk that was there actually left early!!
i was wanting to leave as well, a was nearly falling asleep... awful!!!

Is it the same plot as the Harvey Keitel movie of the same name.............I recall that being pretty good, isn't is all about the angst of the main character?
