Thurso FC lost the league title by one point yesterday afternoon as Golspie Sutherland trounced Bunillidh Thistle 8-2 at King George V Park, Golspie yesterday.

It's Thurso's third runners-up spot finish since formation in 1998. Thurso ran long time leaders Golspie very close and took top spot with a few games to go only to rue some damaging defeats early on in the season.
