Hi guys, I have shot this one week ago and I hope you will like it.http://youtu.be/E7PQbfnErEw
I saw this on facebook Maciek, I thought it was wonderful, I shared it and it has been picked up by my friends in Germany - many of whom are going to be visiting next year to do some history shows with us - I hope it excited them enough so that they want to visit Caithness -i shall certainly be encouraging them to do so and going with them if I possibly can to gush nauseatingly about how beautiful caithness is....
Magic, thank you
Thanks guys, glad you like it and thanks for sharing my footage.
Thank you for sharing
That's fantastic, thank you for posting.
Thank you for sharing, it's wonderful.
awesome. ............
Absolute magic: amazing timelapse photography with a very dramatic musical accompaniment. Thanks for that.
Thanks you again guys, I am really glad you like it.
Really beautiful footage. Thanks for sharing.
Maciek, I hope you don't mind but i shared it with one of the guys who does "Astronomy Picture of the Day". They love this sort of stuff, and yours is as spectacular as anything they've shown of noctilucent clouds in particular.
amazing video
Thanks again guys and thanks to George Brims for proposing this short movie for APOD (Astronomy Picture of the Day) run by NASA, it became APOD today, I guess that's a bit of publicity for Caithness. http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap130819.html
Also my short movie hit Sky News today, although I didn't see it on TV myself http://news.sky.com/story/1130446/vi...oud-phenomenon
Congratulations for your well deserved recognition - superb video :)
That is just amazing. Congratulations on your worldwide recognition.
Thanks guys :).
Excellent work, ran it several times, amazing stuff.
Video is on a Sky News post on BT Yahoo so much more exposure for a stunning video.
Well, maybe they didn't respond to your email but they have left message in comment section below my clip on my YouTube channel, and on their forum clearly described you as a person who suggested my footage for APOD.
"Hello! Your video has been suggested as an APOD (A Picture of A Day) and has been posted on APOD Asterisk forum in 'Found images' section. It is credited to you.
Regards,
Joanna
APOD Asterisk Moderator"

So, thanks again.
It looks like is still not the end of publicity for Caithness with this footage http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencete...night-sky.html
I will be doing interview for BBC Scotland tomorrow, so you may want to keep looking for my terrified face on the telly soon.
Needless to say, I missed it again so many thanks for the video footage.
Please check that you are being given credit for this fantastic capture. A few of the sites I've viewed dont mention you.
Good luck with the BBC and don't sell yourself short. Make the most of this opportunity Maciek, all best.
... and now on the BBC website http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotlan...lands-23781411
Here is a version also on BBC site with voice over footage from yesterday live interview for BBC World News - most terrifying 3 minutes of my life so far ;).

Maciek - you're a star! I'm getting feedback that you are making science accessible in the most spectacular way - I feel a whole new generation of skywatchers coming on. Thank you for your inspiration and industry. Oh, and you came over very pleasantly and naturally on the telly!
Cracking images Maciej. Looking forward to you visit to the Thurso Camera Club on 16th Sept, I'd love to learn the techniques you use.
Thanks again guys.
