Free entrance tonight Friday 7th July - Drystone Walling Talk at 5pm

There is an event on at Caithness Horizons tonight on Drystone Walling which is part of the 3 day Stonefest 2017 event being held in Thurso, today and over the weekend. Entrance to tonight speakers is free.

The speakers will start at 5pm this evening, tea and coffee is provided. The 3 speakers deal with dry stone walling in Ireland, England and the USA. Learn more on the website https://ns58.org/

If you can't make tonight then pop into the event tomorrow (Saturday 8th July) at Thurso Harbour. The Northstone 58° Stonefest event in 2016 built the first half of the drystone wall seating area that looks over the harbour and Thurso castle and is now completing the project. You can see how things are going and provisionally book your place on next years event.
