Brandon boxes clever at Gaelic accordion competition
CAITHNESS accordionist Brandon MacPhee pressed all the right buttons as the competitions got underway at the National Mod in Dunoon, yesterday.
The talented youngster lifted the Smith Mearns Trophy with a scintillating performance in the march, strathspey and reel section.
Emily Morrison from Wick’s Pulteneytown Academy kept the female side of things up, gaining a third place for fiddle for under 13years competitors.
