Police probe building supplies thefts

THIEVES got away with copper and ladders in two separate raids in Wick this week.
The first incident took place, sometime between Thursday and yesterday, when a quantity of copper braid and fittings was stolen from Scottish and Southern Energy's yard, in Thurso Road, Wick.
The second theft is thought to have occurred between last Saturday and yesterday. Two aircraft-style ladders were removed from Carpet Right, on Wick's retail park. The ladders have blue handle bars and silver steps.

Anyone offered any of the items on a cheap,'bargain' basis, should get in touch through the contacts, immediately.
Officers believe that the two crimes might be linked.
