Body search mounted

Alarm raised after photo evidence

AN extensive land-sea search yesterday failed to find any trace of a reported body.
It was mounted after a member of the public noticed what he believed to be a body at Duncansby Head, just south of the lighthouse shortly after 4pm.
He took a photograph of it and took it to the local police station where officers agreed it looked like a person.
The ensuing search by Wick lifeboat and coastguards drew a blank but will be resumed if there is a further sighting.
