Frenchman is accused of dangerous driving

A FRENCH driver is alleged to have caused the death of a Caithness teacher.
Marc Combe is charged with dangerous driving on the A9, at Weydale. The teacher who died, was Dr Kevin Costello (47) principal teacher of science at Wick High School.
He was a passenger in a Peugeot car which was in collision with a campervan on August 16.
Combe (60) made no plea or declaration following his brief appearance in private at Wick Sheriff Court and was released on bail pending further inquiry.
