My missing links

My 1^st posting.
According to the IGI I found that a William Innes and Barbara Sinclair had the following family in Thurso, Caithness. They were; Alexr b;1772, Anne b;1774, Barbara b;1785, Arthur b;1775, William b;1777, Lillias b;1779, Sinclair b;1789, Innes;1782, Allan b;1784 and Benjamin b;1787.
I wonder if William had any other family?
I am trying to make a link with their child William b;1777 with a William who died in Inveravon Banff in 1861.
All that is mentioned on the death extract of William who died in 1861 was that his father was William Innes but that his mother was unknown. Also mentioned was that he was 83 at the time of death. That would mean he was born about <1778>.
Another fact was that there is a Barbara in the family of William who died in 1861. He married twice; 1^st to a Margaret Grant and had a child named Alexander and 2^nd to a Janet Cameron. In the family of Alexander Innes it is shown that he had a child named Barbara.
Barbara is not a name you see too often.
