Are you sure that is a stratus?:confused
You're right. I have been looking them up on the met office site. Don't know what made think it was stratus. Think it is probably cirrus. Unless anyone knows different.Quote:

I think it could possibly be Stratocumulus.
Stratocumulus cloud is large blanket with visible 'blobby bits' and a visible shading from white at the top to grey underparts so I am inclined to disagree, however, clouds aren't black and white, they are a millions shades of grey so to speak.:D
Well, it's got me beat. If anyone knows what type of cloud it is I would love to know.
