Dog rescue appeal - big-hearted rudi needs a home

Hope no one minds but as a dog lover I also want to post this appeal for Rudi in the general section where it will be seen by more people. KWK9 have posted this appeal on their own website.....


KWK9 RESCUE

Through no fault of his own Rudi has unfortunately come back into our care.
Rudi is quite a big greyhound type lurcher aprox 18 months to 2 years old, vaccinated and neutered. He has had a hard life judging by the scars and cuts when he came into the care of kwk9. He has proved that he also has a big heart and character, now that he has relaxed and learnt, probably for the first time in his life to trust people. He is doing really well and is clean and well mannered.
He walks well on the lead and will sit for a treat. He is also full of fun and has learnt the fun of playing with his new squeaky toys. Rudi will need an owner who is experienced and confident and is ready to embrace some of the challenges of a rescue dog he is good with other dogs and very friendly.
He would do well in a home where he has a decent sized garden to play in, he could be homed on his own or with a bitch.
