FOUR YEARS FOR SWORD ATTACKER

A WICK teenager who carried out a Samurai sword attack on another man, was jailed for four years at the High Court in Edinburgh, today
The accused, Anthony Robertson, of Battery road, Wick, admitted the assault on 19-year-old Danny Ryder, previously.
The attack took place initially in Battery Road, in October, last year but Robertson pursued Mr Ryder to neighbouring Shilling Hill, striking him repeatedly with the sword to his severe injury, permanent disfigurement and danger of his life.
Robertson, 18, will be supervised for two years after he is released.
