Caithness Beach Cleans - 34 Tons of Plastic removed from local beaches!

If you would like to join us, we are on FaceBook: Caithness Beach Cleans. We don't organise anything, everyone just picks up when they go for a walk, weigh the plastic and send a photo of the weight to the group. That weight is then added to the total and we have statistics for each beach in Caithness and some in Sutherland. Better than that though is that the plastic is no longer being used as food or nesting materials and neither is it entangling sea creatures and killing them.
