I have observed an unusual coloured buzzard on my regular walks on Reiss Beech dunes over the last six weeks or so, but find it incredibly difficult to get a decent picture of it showing it's true colours. I have posted a few photos on my face book page and the best likeness that anyone has suggested is a Rough Legged Hawk, (Buzzard). Has anyone else seen it or got a picture of it?

I was seeing what looked like a very pale Buzzard a few weeks back and there was another report but not on that side of the county.
Not seen a Rough Leg for 3 years but live in hope !
could be a young buzzard
The feed back that I am getting would suggest that it is a pale Buzzard, which side of the county is Hope, Lizz. ;)Quote:

I've often seen him/her in the distance but not close up.

Did you not know that Hope is a wee hamlet over here, very close to Faith and Charity
