Council yard hit by fuel thieves

THIEVES have got away with a substantial haul of fuel from a Highland Council yard at Strathy.
The fuel was spirited away between 12.30 on July 9 and 0800 hours, the following day. Police are investigating the theft but need your help. T
They have appealed to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area, such as an unfamiliar vehicle, to contact them immediately.
Anyone who is offered a bargain fill-up should decline and get in touch with officers. The number at Thurso police station, is 01847 893222 or on Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
