The second photo above is looking down St Magnus Road, and the third is on Duncan Street.
St Magnus Road phone box was a regular haunt for my mum and I in the early 1960`s. Mum used to save up the change for the phone all week, then use the box to phone her sister at work the day her boss was out at womens guild meeting.
Almost positive it is my late mum in the box and I am sitting patiently on the wall waiting for her with (probably Adele Gold or Margaret Green) and Lawrence Money (in the wellie boots) and William Lush (walking towards the phone box)
My OH recognised mum right away and dad is pretty certain he recognised my pigtails and baldy bit.
We got the phone at home about 1965 hence the early 1960`s timeline.
These are fabulous photos!!
But on Thirsaloons...all i am getting instead of his wonderful photos is

This thread seems to have gone quiet these days :(
Yeah, come on. Someone must have more pics.
Yes, there must be loads. I expect there are some people with interesting pictures but haven't got access to a scanner.
If any one needs pictures scanned, pm me, I'll be happy to help. And no doubt there'll be others who will be glad to offer assistance to keep this thread going from strength to strength.
Noticed that this thread has passed the 100,000 views mark. Surely some kind of record? Wonder if Bill will put it on the front page?
There are probably quite a lot of site visitors who've never visited the forums and, hopefully, it may trigger a new batch of posters.
