It would be a pity if the Christmas lights stopped, what do other people think? What do people think of the comment below the newspaper article in the link?

I think they shouldn't be up in November. Christmas starts on the 25th of December, hence why the 24th is called Christmas Eve. Here in Orkney, by the time Christmas itself actually arrives, they are sick to the back teeth of decorations, including their own which have been up since October.
