Just caught an interview with Lindy Cameron the Head of Mission in the Provincial Reconstruction Team in Afghanistan - seems a very competent lady, certainly comes across as a shrewd operator and knows how to handle the media...........maybe we should do without politicians and just rely on civil servants.

Not to me he didn't..........but I take your point. If you had seen the interview perhaps you would see that there was some substance in what she said (something that could never be said about Blair).
