ive seen a white series 1 rs turbo parked up in tesco in wick a few times,not so long ago,absolutely stunning cars!!

theres a couple of series 2 grey rs turbos around,seen 1 of them today down at scrabster,also very nice!

where have all the vaux nova's gone:( i know of 2 around here but not on the road :~(

EDIT: i assume you mean a series 1 escort?as they were only made in white,apart from 1 black S1 made for princess diana!

I seen a S2 in grey last week. It had clear rears and a horrible set of wheels on it :(

I've just returned from Dunfermline where I saw a black RS500 with Texaco livery :D

At the moment I can't get enough of the new Focus RS. Seen a blue one in the town the other day and it really is immense.

It's a shame you don't see many Nova's about. The ones you used to see were chavved to hell, so seeing a nice original one would be pretty special!

did you ever see the G reg gte in thurso,in met grey,i remember seeing a woman running around in it used to be parked at the bowling alley,im sure somebody said she worked in the office,it was 100% original,disappeared though:(

Why dont you guys who like seeing fast cars get down to sneckie this weekend for the Snowman Rally. 116 cars entered so expect at least 100 runners. Only one Caithness driver this year - John MacKenzie in Metro 6R4 (car 28)
If you dont want to venture into the forrests, you can see the start at the Thistle Hotel from 9:00 onwards and returning at 15:30. Some really class machinery on view.
If you want to see some action head for the forrest stages:-
Meall Mor south of Daviot (just off A9) at 09:18
Millbuie north of Minlochy on the Black Isle at 10:35
Torrachilty at Contin at 12:20
Scotsburn near Tain at 14:42
There is also two service halts at Black Isle Showground at Muir of Ord during the day.
