I’ve often watched Buzzards for hours in fascination of their flying and hunting skills. I've often felt they get a bad press and people are quite dismissive of them.

I'd like to suggest we rename the humble Buzzard:

"The Highland Rock Eagle"

What do you think?

I think the "Fence Post Eagle" would be more suitable:D

How about The Lesser Caithness Eagle, that would have the twitchers dashing for the plane.train, car etc.

It'd be better if it wasn't so wussy as to be chased off by every crow for miles. What are those beaks and claws for?

Yes but it's just the noble "Rock Eagle". I've seen Golden Eagles getting the same treatment ;)

and the claws are for picking his beak!

"TOURIST EAGLE" does fine, because every buzzard seen by a tourist is an eagle.
