I am researching William Ross b c1832 Canisbay Father Malcolm Ross mother Elizabeth?. William married Barbara Bain dau of Joseph Bain & Helen Bremner on 25 Sep 1863 in Canisbay.

I think Mala should read Malcolm.
Cant find them on the 1881,1891,1901 census.

Forgot I had a copy of the 1901 Canisbay Census.
In Enumeration District Page 13

William Ross,70, Farmer wife Barbra,60 Children Joseph,36, William,23,Barbra, 21.

I also looked in the Monumental Inscriptions book for Canisbay there is a gravestone for a Wm Ross, Farmer, Stemster. d.5.1.1921 aged 88.
