Unless you can write down all the code thats displayed in the bsod, or know what has been installed \ altered on the pc wich would lead you to the cause of it, then it's not a simple fix.

Maybe : System Restore back to when it was working ok.

Would hang on and see if there are any better ideas here.

Would suggest it may possibly be a fan problem - if the whole PC is switching off then it could be the processor or power supply fan causing the whole system to overheat and shut down, but if it's just cutting off the display then maybe it's the graphics card fan.

1. The power supply (PSU) fan can usually be seen by looking at the rear of the system - turn it on while looking at the back panel and if you see it rotating then it's not likely to be the PSU fan.

2. If you're confident enough to remove the side panel, do so and turn the PC on - the processor fan is usually straight in front of you and, when switched on, should be turning.

For the graphics fan, if you look round the back where your screen connects, with the side panel off you should then be able to see inside to see what it's connected to.

3a. If it is the big board at the back (the motherboard) then the graphics fan (if there is one - not all motherboard-based graphics chips have their own fans) will be a smaller fan mounted onto the motherboard.

3b. If however the screen connects to a card rising out from the motherboard then you have a separate graphics card, you may need to turn the PC on its side to get a good look at the graphics card fan.

Let us know if any of the fans are not turning and if one or more is not then which one(s) (1, 2, 3a or 3b).
