anybody else experiencing a 3g signal today? On t-mobile and i've noticed since about 5 pm i've been getting a fluctuating signal between gprs and 3g. Thought my phone was just twitchy so checked ohs' and he is on virgin and same thing happening?! Tried to download a big file on t-mobile and right enough was much quicker. Is there an upgrade soon? Or just twitchy phone signals today?

Virgin use the T-mobile network so maybe T-mobile are upgrading to 3G up here. T-Mobile and Three also did a deal to share their 3G networks so maybe they are expanding that also. Where abouts are you?

You get a pretty strong 3G signal at Wick Tesco/Airport area. I was using an iPhone out there and it was much faster for browsing the web than it was in Thurso.
I think a few of the networks plan to upgrade to 3G up here......about time too.

Im with 02, using an iphone. Ive had a prety strong 3G signal with them since I first switched to 02 about 6 months ago. Have noticed it's poorer up Thurso way tho.

I just really wanted a nice short explanation from friends on the web rather than pointed to an area I suppose I coould have search more quickly.

However, that would not have had the fun of communication on the messageboard and feeling I was in a pleasant, informative, social situation.
