Anybody else having internet problems with the Castletown exchange?

The BT status page yesterday showed an outage.

Today this looks to have been resolved but I still have no connection.
(Having to use 3G Mobile to post this).

I really dont want to do battle with the Calcutta Helpdesk if this is still a ongoing local issue.

Thanks - Charlie

Couple of days ago lost broadband and it'd been running painfully slowly for ages.
Came back on as I discussed it with India but they are still working on the line along the road nr thurdistoft.

Lost mine for a while couple of days ago and wondered what was happening. It's still a bit iffy so thanks for the info. Can't face talking to India these days.

I've been online all day, every day and not had any problems with connections. Maybe you should contact your network provider

Running at 1 Mb - about as good as it goes here have had 1.5 for 2 days!
There are still holes drawing ropes and cable beside the road so chances are it'll drop out again once they dive into fixing it again.
Strange because that cable has been above ground for ages.

It ran at 200k for ages and ages then I campaigned after it dropped to 80k and after hours on the phone and some fiddling with the exchange it got to 1.5 Mb but just for 2 days.
But when the helpdesk tells me whats possible I can tell them exactly.
If I'd had 500k consistently I'd be far less unimpressed with them.
