I had a chance to go this year, but unfortunately a change of circumstances and I had to put it off. Maybe next year?

Was it in April last year that they had an up helly ah type celebration in Orkney?

Up-Helly-Aa is an absolutely brilliant day and night out for all.....if you ever get the opportunity to attend you should as you wont be disappointed!! Its been a couple of years now since i've made it home for it due to work commitments so i'm delighted they have this webcam set up :D

Aye, bit damp and murky, same as Keiss this morning.

My family are all on Shetland now (Unst and Yell) but I've never made it up for Up Helly Aa yet. One day.....
