IKEA has cheap units, if you don't mind flat-pack! The Kiln Store in Thurso will even pick them up for you, for a small fee.

never thought of IKEA will check with the kiln store. Homebase and MFR are expensive and do not seem to have really basic ones

we got ours from Focus Do It All, £25 for a basic white 1000mm base unit, think wall units were just under £20 - with a bit more spent on worktops and fancier handles they were just the job for our utility room

Do not whatever you do go to space kitchens i had one fitted cost me an arm and a leg and workmen ship very poor.Took them half a year to come back and rectify the problems.
