What do you make of this picture birders ?
Chick was attempting to feed from gull. The large Gull looks not to be of breeding age with some brown feathers on it's head.
Do chicks just latch on to what ever gull might feed them ?

That is the Herring Gulls winter adult plumage. Pure white head in summer.
